Introduction: SMMsg suite will allow you to read/parse the files created by MS Outlook. You may read the message with all mail information (subject, body, recipients, attachments etc), contact, note, task, appointment, journal, post item If you have not the installed MS Outlook, you may recover this information from your msg-file and copy/save in another format. For example, extract all attachments from mail and save with original file. This application don't use any external libraries and you may load the .msg-contents from any stream (file, blob field, memory etc). SMMsg is a native VCL engine with multilanguage support. Install instructions: · Unzip archive to a created folder · Run Delphi or C++Builder · Select Install packages... item in Component menu · Press Add button and select a package file (SMMsgD3.DPL for D3, SMMsgXX.BPL for D4/5/6/7/2005/2006) in installed directory · Press Ok button · Enjoy it. In palette on SMMsg page you can find a few new installed components Don't forget to include a folder with components as part of search path in Delphi/C++Builder IDE. Limitations: · each time after running you will see a nag.screen · only first 50 characters extracted from every stored property (subject, body, recipient etc) · you can save the one attachment only in trial · works with Delphi IDE running only
