Introduction: This program allows you to create layouts for model railroads and slot car systems. Layouts are built by dragging the tracks from the library to the layout. Tracks magnetically snap to free track-segments on the track plan, automatically rotate to the correct angle and can optionally be colorized automatically to match the color of the segment. Choose elements from the various supplied libraries, drop them on the track plan or append them to elements in your track plan.All common model scales are supported, from Z to IIm/G. Arbitrary scales can be combined in any track plan. It includes 100 libraries with tracks of many major manufacturers as well as additional elements like signals, houses and trees. A graphical editor is included in the distribution to create your own libraries or modify the supplied libraries. You can view your layout in 3D. Track plans can be exported as PNG, PSD, JPEG or TIFF pictures. A part list is automatically maintained by RailModeller for your track plan providing an overview of the tracks used and the overall costs. The integrated price editor allows on-the-fly editing of current pricing for all elements required for a particular layout. English and German locales are available.
