Introduction: Use a FireWire or USB camera like iSight or any DV camcorder to grab pictures and store them locally, on your iDisk or FTP server. There is also motion detection that can trigger recording of images, playback of audio alarm and launch a custom AppleScript. Archive all taken images locally, on FTP server or both. There is an automated process that will remove old images from the archive. There is a Java applet that lets you view archived images from a Web browser.
