Introduction: Dextar is an application that displays a virtual Pocket PC (PDA) simulator on the PC screen, which the user controls to develop a fully operational solution that suits his/her requirements when mobile. Dextar references the chosen database or business software exposing for selection, the tables, fields and functions of that database for dual [synchronized] operation on the PDA. Once fashioned to the users requirements on the simulator, the working program is installed on the PDA (via its cable with a single click). The Dextar mobile application operates as designed by the user, updating at the intervals and by the method defined by the user. Mobile connectivity is achieved by any standard connection using standard tools such as VPN, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Active sync.
