Introduction: This book deals with Microsoft Windows 98 as an operating system. The book is divided into four sections wherein it covers the basic functions associated with an operating system. It gives an exposure to work with files and folders and the various commands associated with them. It introduces the reader to the different tools and applications of Windows 98, which facilitate in exploring the benefits of the operating systems in-built features. The last section deals with a new feature introduced in this version of the Windows operating system, which is mainly the Web support.
