Introduction: StressComp is a useful and reliable Windows based fully 3-Dimensional Finite Element Stress Analysis software which uses IMSI's DesignCAD program for its model construction and plotting display. StressComp extracts the 3-D model directly out of DesignCAD and constructs a Finite Element mesh from the CAD drawing. Reliability - StressComp began development in 1989 and will continue development well into the future. Our software has been thoroughly field tested on numerous problems through consultation services. Accuracy - Our software has been tested on countless standardized problems. In addition, we continue to improve StressComp's accuracy with new adaptive methods. These methods will ensure more accurate simulations. Computational Performance - We use the latest iterative and direct solution methods. In addition, our offerings will go through the process of a total transition in computational mentality. All of our software are being transitioned into parallel based methods. As new hardware enters the market in the next few years, StressComp will be up to the challenge and will be one of the most capable software simulation tools with regards to accuracy and computational speed. Future - We are a privately held company with the goal of providing numerical solutions to challenging and interesting problems.
