Introduction: HydroPIPE is a parametric drawing tool which can be used for nodular and grey cast valves and water supply systems fittings and it works under AutoCAD graphic environment. All elements, more than 100 pieces, have exact dimensions according to DIN standard and they have been listed and elaborated on in “Metal Industry of Varaždin” and “HALBERG” catalogues. Elements with flanges and Tyton push-in joints, from DN40 to DN1800 are included. Drawn elements are not blocks, but each and every one has separately been programmed which provides full possibility to process them with standard AutoCAD commands. Apart from the drawing of elements itself, automatic feature annotation has been enabled, too, along with description (textual and nummerical) of elements, description of materials both within an active drawing and ASCII database that in its turn can process the text with a processor or table calculator. How to draw elements - Picking the desired element from the pull-down menu a dialogue window is opened to define required elements like pressure, profile, build-in length and the like. Every element’s weight and DIN have been stored in program databases and are automatically assigned to axes of every drawn element. Thereby all the data about every single element are permanently saved in a .DWG drawing.
