Introduction: The .NET Documentation Tool,is the right tool if you want to create technical documentation for Microsoft .NET Framework projects written in VB.NET and C#. The .NET Documentation Tool can document many types of .NET project, including ASP.NET, Windows Forms, Console Applications and class libraries. The .NET Documentation Tool is the quickest and most cost effective way of automatically documenting and understanding .NET projects [full list of features]. Documentation is created in standard HTML, Microsoft's HTML Help (shown in screenshot above) and plain text formats. Requirements: · The .NET Documentation Tool can be used on a machine running Microsoft Windows 95 or any subsequent version of Windows. Windows 2000 or Windows XP is recommended. The .NET Framework is not required. · The .NET Documentation Tool source code parser engine is written in Perl 5, but Perl is not required as the source code has been compiled into an executable file. The complete Perl source code is supplied with the .NET Documentation Tool Premium Edition, but not with the Standard Edition. · The .NET Documentation Tool is able to save project documentation in Microsoft's HTML Help format. To be able to do this then Microsoft's HTML Help Workshop must be installed.
